Your ideas are in these Talented updates

A learner told us that a daily goal helped her feel motivated to practise. She liked the idea and suggested showing the goal at the start of a session, so she could decide what to work towards that day.

That message helped shape an update to Daily Goals. Other feedback led to a roomier keyboard and easier access to exercises worth revisiting. These updates have contributors you might recognise: people who learn with Talented and tell us about their experience.

A goal to check before your first exercise

We gave Daily Goals a dedicated page. Your mascot lets you know when the goals refresh and offers a link straight from the chat. Once goals are available to you, you can check today’s tasks before choosing your practice.

Additional goals unlock through Talent Tree. You can turn off the mascot’s daily goal update messages if you prefer to check for yourself. One person’s suggestion helped make this part of practice more visible to others.

More room for your fingers

You asked for landscape mode and told us about using the keyboard on your phone. We added landscape layouts to supported exercises and made the keys larger in that layout.

Open a supported exercise and turn your phone. In Play Notes, you connect a written note with a key on the screen. In Play Melody, you listen to an example and play a short melody. The wider layout gives those actions more room.

An easier route to another try

Recognising a note once can feel different from recognising it confidently in your next lesson. My Mistakes brings together exercises from Learning Path where you made mistakes, so you can practise them again.

Your feedback helped us make the section easier to find. Once it is unlocked, you can open it from your profile and beside the unit list. An entry also appears near the learning path when there are exercises to revisit. You can go straight to practice without remembering which lesson held that tricky task.

First melodies you want to play again

Comments from learners and teachers also help us look closely at lesson content. In the first lessons, we refined explanations and illustrations, reviewed task order and tempo, and selected more familiar, tuneful passages where they suit the learning goal.

You can listen to an example before trying it yourself. Where tempo controls are available, you can choose a comfortable pace. Listen for the pattern first, then focus on playing it yourself.

What would you suggest for your next session

We read and reply to every comment in the app stores and on social media, every email and every feedback message from our test groups. When we need to understand a situation better, we ask questions. Your observations help us choose the next improvements to Talented.

Tell us about one detail that would make your practice more comfortable. Leave a comment or email support@talentedmusicapp.com. You do not need to know how to design an app to share a useful idea. Just tell us how you practise.
